SUSTAINABILITY

Our aim is to create places where communities, businesses and nature thrive. We have created sustainable workspaces that create great service and contribute positively to the local community.

Sustainablity

At Grosvenor we aim to create places where communities, businesses and nature thrive through a holistic approach to environmental and social sustainability.

By committing to stretching environmental goals, we are contributing to a greener, healthier future for all those who rely on our places.

Like our business, our ambition is long term; by 2050 we will be a climate positive, regenerative business, actively creating environmental benefits from our activities. A few of our commitments;

ZERO CARBON: By 2040 we will reduce emissions by 90% across our whole business including our buildings, developments and supply chain.
VALUING NATURE: By 2030, our portfolio will have achieved a significant net biodiversity gain, responding to the need to halt the decline of the UK’s wildlife and restore ecosystems.
ZERO WASTE: By 2030 we will send zero non-hazardous waste to landfill.
TRANSFORMATIVE PARTNERSHIPS: To meet our goals, we are transforming how we work with suppliers, occupiers and investors.

People Positive

By recognising, measuring and listening to the distinct needs of a community, at Grosvenor we can make better informed decisions to improve wellbeing for everyone.

Places are more than just bricks and mortar – they shape people’s lives, experiences, and wellbeing.

As long-term investors and community partners we have a huge role to play in ensuring places have a positive impact on people.

By recognising, measuring, and listening to the distinct needs of a community, we can make better informed decisions to improve wellbeing for everyone.

Our priorities:

  • Improving people’s wellbeing in the places we make and manage.
  • Helping local economies to thrive by championing inclusive growth and diversity.
  • Maximising the positive impact of our people and partners.
